ABOUT NorCal Dynasty

 

The NorCal Dynasty Basketball Club was founded in 2014 by Coach Tom Tran, who wanted to change the culture and landscape of AAU Basketball in Placer County. NorCal Dynasty Basketball Club focuses on teaching athletes the game but also life lessons beyond the game to make is less a "club" and more like a "Family". 

 

PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

There are several problems with today’s AAU culture and Nor Cal Dynasty and the HUI Basketball Club is set to make a change, in player development and experience. While many AAU programs claim to be development minded, their actions speak differently. Our player development program is unmatched in offering year-round training. Nor Cal Dynasty offers a variety of athletic training programs for those who are serious about taking their talents to the next level.  We will seek to teach the players to love the game of basketball and learn life lessons along the way that will be with them for the rest of their lives.

FOUNDER

Coach Tom Tran has over 20+ years coaching experience. Working for the City of Rocklin, in his 3rd year was named by Jr. NBA and Jr. WNBA as coach of the year for youth sports. Was 1 of 32 to receive this award out of over 100,000 world wide that were nominated. He has coached at the MS, HS (Head Coach and Varsity Assistant), and now is currently the Assistant Coach at Sierra College for Women's Basketball.
